PMo6022
Hi all, First of all, I apologize if this question has been answered, but I searched and couldn't find anything. I have the MDK 10.1 powerpack DVD. I am doing a clean install and would like to install KDE 3.3 instead of the default 3.2. I have searched the directories on the DVD and have found all of the KDE 3.3 rpm's at /kde3.3, so I know they are on there, but I don't know how to get the thing installed. Any help if most definitely appreciated! Thanks. Pete
devries
Add the dvd/kde3.3 folder as one of your repositories. (Mandrake Control Center, software, manage media, add etcetc) To Install type urpmi kdebase, restart X, and add the rest of the packages. Good luck
PMo6022
Devries, thanks for the reply. I have tried adding the /kde3.3 directory as a repository, but what do I put for the hdlist? Thanks.
