daniewicz
I am using Mandrake 10 with KDE 3.2. I have been using firefox for some time, and I am contemplating using an optimized build from Mozillazine. Some of the optimized builds require SVG support. Do I have SVG? If not, how do I get it? As an aside, search would not work with a string as short as SVG.....annoying

daniewicz
Thanks bvc. The installation of librsvg appeared to be successful. How would I verify?
bvc
rpm -q librsvg will tell you it is installed you could have found it, and 100 other things or more, with urpmf svg if you are using kde, I'm not sure what kind of support its apps have for svg but you could try and open an svg image. http://bvc.kernow-webhosting.com/theme/wal...er/waves.tar.gz For gnome/gtk, I know they all support svg. gqview, gthumb, eog Edited December 22, 2004 by bvc
daniewicz
rpm -q librsvg revealed that the installation was OK. KView was unable to open the svg images you posted. I may have to wait until I try to install a firefox build with SVG before I can say more. The build is not yet available.....
