I can't see that the benifit is worth the risk. 3 is a nice step up from 2.2 so im happy to have the newer version but as long as it's stable. What is the feature that you have to have in 3.1 that 3 doesn't have? If there isn't one and you just want to take a look, i would suggest waiting till it gets abit more stable or be prepared to reinstall 3.
