ezroller
anyone know how to make KDE 3.1 co-exist with KDE 3.0.3? I haven't tried it yet, since MDK9.0 has been so worry free for me. But...if it aint broke...fix something ....

I have 9.0 humming along nicely and don't really want to bugger it up trying 3.1 (at least not yet  )

DragonMage
I am not even sure the state of KDE 3.1 right now.. I think it is still in early beta.. not even RC version.. I am not going to dirty my computer with unstable packages right now.
johnnyv
i agree with ezroller,DragonMage and Ronin. I can't see that the benifit is worth the risk. 3 is a nice step up from 2.2 so im happy to have the newer version but as long as it's stable. What is the feature that you have to have in 3.1 that 3 doesn't have? If there isn't one and you just want to take a look, i would suggest waiting till it gets abit more stable or be prepared to reinstall 3.
Ronin
What is the feature that you have to have in 3.1 that 3 doesn't have? The chance to really screw up your system? :P
Guest defunct
If I get 9.0 i'll install it. People have to see which things exactly are going to screw up your system to get them fixed :) Hopefully i'll have 9.0 within this week .. *cough ezroller hurry up!
