xoox Posted December 16, 2004 Report Share Posted December 16, 2004 Hi. I am using a HP L1925 flat screen. The MCC sets the refesh rate to 75 Hz for a resolution of 1280x1024. It is no problem now to change the refresh rate for each user to 60Hz using the KDE control center. Section "Monitor" Identifier "monitor1" VendorName "Generic" ModelName "1024x768 @ 70 Hz" HorizSync 31.5-57.0 VertRefresh 50-70 just make sure you set it within your monitor's parameters. you can easily fry a monitor if you try to set it beyond what it's capable of. aRTee Posted December 18, 2004 Report Share Posted December 18, 2004 Sure you can use a GUI if you want - mcc - hardware - monitor, then select a monitor in the generic section (at the bottom of the list): 1280x1024 @ 60Hz.
