check what eth1 is, for instance in /etc/modprobe.conf - if it's a device you normally don't use (at all) you can put a # in front of the line that mentions eth1 in that file.

 

Alternatively, you can go through the setup of that ethernet device with MCC - hardware or network, and configure it to not start at boot.

 

It's likely an ethernet device that is configured to start at boot with dhcp, and it's not connected to anything or you have no dhcp server on that network. This slows down the boot considerably.

 

The ep0in thing I have no idea about, so I'll leave that to others..
