urpmi error

Was working fine last night, havent' done any major changes except for install packages via urpmi last night. Just tried to do a

urpmi.update -a

and I got the following error:

Basically, you installed something from cooker that updated perl. My understanding is that the perl release for cooker is no longer backword compatible with mandrake 10.0 or 10.1.

 

I had to do a reinstall but the solution from the above thread may work.
