Guest defunct
I'm not sure from the error log, but does it make an attempt to connect like noises and stuff or does it just do nothing?
Cannonfodder
Try doing a google on "LCP terminated by peer". Tons of stuff out there...
Guest bravehat
the kppp dials and the initial fax tone is heared. when it is logging on to the network, this error log is generated. i first thought that it might be because of the ethernet that is enableed at the moment. so i first stopped the network daemon. but it does not seem to help
Guest defunct
see if we were in windows id say check the configuration like unchecking the boxes netbeui, etc. but we're in linux and it pretty much auto sets up the connection so i'm not sure =
