multios
I am running Mandrake 10.0 Official and KDE 3.2. My problem is that under the menu (mandrake star) not all the applications are shown. Under "All Applications" it shows office, internet, multimedia, system, more applications, and home. I ran menudrake and saw virtually all groups and programs such as games, science, etc. I have the environment set to kde. I clicked on save, but nothing changed. I then ran the menu update program and still no changes to my menu. I then ran kappfinder, found a bunch (but not all) of apps, selected all, and clicked ok. Still no new applications showing on my menu. What gives? Any ideas? Thanks. oh yeah, I even rebooted, but that didn't help either. I tried searching, but didn't see anything similar to my problem...maybe I didn't search correctly??
multios
FIXED. I just reinstalled and now I see most everything. I am still checking to see if some programs are even installed, but for the most part, most apps are there.
Guest anon
Yes, i think thats a common problem with installing MDK. It tells you the install went fine without any problems, no error messages etc, but sometimes it lies. LOL
