Guest tomasz Posted October 6, 2002 Report Share Posted October 6, 2002 hi DOIson, I have installed your blackbox rpms, but there is one major bug: Neither KDM, or GDM "recognises" your blackbox, despite the accurate installation of your rpm. I have tried to start your blackbox in falisafe-mode, and it worked properly. It seems, that there is no "blackbox"- file created in the /etc/x11//wmsession.d directory. moreover, there is no entry for "blackbox" in the KDM-config file. I don't know if this hints are helpful, but anyway, thanks for the fine files, blackbox is one of mine favourite GUIs too. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
DOlson Posted October 7, 2002 Author Report Share Posted October 7, 2002 Yeah, that's because I don't use GDM or KDM, and I don't really care on how to add them there. Mandrake does it all for you, and so I haven't bothered to learn that yet. I just make a .xinitrc file and put exec blackbox in it. Works great.
