AgelessStranger
Hi Just wondering if there are any programs out there that are good for PDF publishing. I have some lecture notes that are in PDF format and I want to edit them. Kghostview is no good for this, neither is Xpdf. I have tried to open them in open office but nothing happens after I select the filter. Thanks in advance Josh

coverup
If you don't have the original source (eg LaTeX or Word doc), your best bet is to use Adobe Acrobat (not Acrobat Reader). A simplest alternative would be to print the document, correct it, then scan the correction back to PDF. Many scanners can produce a decent PDF, some even do text/image recognition thus reducing the size of the document.
