Guest duir66
I went to download Red Hat 8 and there are 5 iso images. Does anyone know which ones are necessary for install? 1 - 3 is my guess. I know that RH usually has dev disks with every release - which I don't need. (Not that hardcore.... yet!) :D
Guest duir66
...never mind. Only took two disks for the install I wanted to do. Imagine it may require other cds if I installed more. Still would like to know which isos are the devs without actually downloading. Didn't really find the answer on redhat.com :)
johnnyv
My adsl provider has a ftp, which you can log into and get the stuff they have there at full rate at no cost. They have redhat 8.0 so it would only take about 2hr's to get all the iso's. Pity i don't want them, they have Red hat & debian but no mandrake :(
fuzzylizard
All you really need are the first three ISOs. The last two simply contain source code -- *.src.rpm
Guest duir66
thanks, Fuzzy lizard. That is what I needed to know. Bluecurve is pretty sweet.... my grandmother would like this. Seriously, it reminds me of Lycoris - just not as buggy.
