      Mandriva Official Documentation

Official documentation for extant versions of Mandriva can be found at doc.mandriva.com.   Documentation for the latest release may take some time to appear there. You can install all the manuals from the main repository if you have Mandriva installed - files are prefixed mandriva-doc.

So you may have noticed the forum software has upgraded !!!
A few things that have changed. We no longer have community blogs (was never really used) We no longer have a portal page.
We can discuss this, and decide whether it is needed (It costs money) See this thread: Here

Troubleshooting your (Linux) Hardware

Recommended Posts

Sorry.

Since I started using Suse and stopped being a moderator here, I haven't really kept an eye on this thread anymore. It might be outdated in some places unless the other mods kept it 'fresh'.

That was a temporary address while the site was reorganised. The new address is www.mandriva.com/en/hardware/. :)

I also tried the link you posted and it doesn't work. I am trying to figure out if my laptop specification would work with Mandriva one 2008 spring.

What's your specs violetta834? If it's the same as your signature, it shouldn't be too much of a problem, but a more detailed list of hardware, such as video card, network card, wireless card, sound card, etc, should help us get a good idea. You could always download and try the Mandriva One CD to test before installation to see how it goes.
