Release schedule

 

The following are the current planned releases:

 

  1. Ubuntu 4.10 (The Warty Warthog): October 2004

  2. Ubuntu 5.04 (The Hoary Hedgehog): April 2005

  3. Ubuntu 5.10 (The Grumpy Groundhog): October 2005

bvc those are actually Hoary repos? Where did you find them and if you have updated whats new? If you could post in the Ubuntu thread. Don't wanna O.T. the heck out of this one. :D

yes they are real. The base repo was default. Open

http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/

in a browser and you see hoary

 

I haven't updated much. Doing it little by little. I main'y needed to fix the svg bug for theming and I don't feel like fixing any disasters as apt isn't exactly a trusted friend. Urpmi is ;)

I finally got my hands on a SUSE 9.1 Pro DVD. Installed it two days ago, and used the last two nights configuring it.

 

SUSE feels good. So far I have a feeling that it's a slightly more thought-through distro than Mandrake.
