kilimanjaro
does anybody know how to get OO to stop formating numbers into dates on a spreadsheet? I have looked in the help section and I couldn't find anything. I finally had to put a letter in with it so it wouldn't be turned into a date. I love OO, but this one very frustraing error spois it for me.
devries
Rightclick--> cell format--> change from 'date' to 'number' (disclaimer: translated from Dutch so actual words may be different)

adamw
you might have to paste as raw, in fact. i know how to do that in excel, I've not used openoffice's spreadsheet but I guess it's possible.
