devries
Run it from a console (wine xxxxx.exe (where xxx is the program name)) and post the results here.
a13x
Even so ... you'll dump wine soon. Cuz it just doesn't do it's job right. Try Cedega . It's not perfect but at least it's better that Wine/Winex.
smurfy
Hi PiG_DoG, it'd also be handy to see (as well as the output from the console) the content of your /home/username/.wine/config file or if you don't have individual ones, it'll be in /etc/wine/config a13x - Cedega is WineX albeit updated and rebadged. a13x
I know that. When I say WineX I mean all the WineX versions BEFORE Cedega. WineX version 4.0.1 was renamed to Cedega if I remember well.

Just try this out. :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Lol couldnt get it to work at all, ie the error its giving me is "cant load any applets" and i had to remove the 20040813 that comes standard with 10.1 CE. That one btw did exactly what is described here, nothing at all just crashing to desktop after a few seconds
