Guest jasonpepas Posted September 10, 2004 Report Share Posted September 10, 2004 Hi, searching package descriptions appears more difficult than need be. - there is no way to search package descriptions from the command line - rpmdrake only displays packages not yet installed, and rpmdrake-remove only displays packages currently installed. thus, you have to search in both of them to get an authoritative answer. is there perhaps some other utility I am unaware of? -jason Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
