Jayclark
I installed Mandrake with cd1. But I downloaded cd 2 and 3 today. How do I burn .iso files in Mandrake?
Pzatch
K3B or I use the commandline app cdrecord. type in cdrecord --help and it will give you some info on it. man -a cdrecord will also give some info on the app. This is the basic app that most cd burning is done in linux. Even if you use a gui it still uses cdrecord for it functions.
Jayclark
I tried to install KB3 earlier but I got this error when trying to ./configure rror: C++ preprocessor "/lib/cpp" fails sanity check See `config.log' for more details. Ever .tar file I try to configure does this.
liquidzoo
Try urpmi k3b It might be on cd 1. You will need to issue that command as root in a terminal
Jayclark
Couldn't find the KB3 as the rpm through urmpi. I went ahead and download the c++ compiler it needed. Then I had to download dependecy(sp?) for that. But now I get this error checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.1 (20021021)) (library qt-mt) not found. Please check your installation! Looking on goole right now for what it means.
Jayclark
Search on google said I needed the dev files. I went ahead just put the iso files on the Windows partion. And I'll burn it with nero. I'm going to do a clean install of Windows and Mandrake and put Windows 98 on the Windows partion to save space on my hardrive.
