spiedra
You need to be patient. People are reading them, but they probably don't know the answer like myself as I don't run a private ftp server, Would you rather people posted saying they " Don't Know"? axel_2078
What is it you found? I'm in the same boat. I also use BPFTP on my Windows ftp server. What did you find that suits your needs?
Apoc
proftpd thats gotta be your ftp server of choice.. all the options you'd expect but its more command line set up than a nice gui (but its intuitive.) Â Comes with Mandrake 10 and i belive if you install webmin you can configure it from there
Guest BlackAngel
I also use Proftpd since 6 month in replacement to ServU and I have no problem, it rock well ;)  You can find lot of "How To" on the net to configure proftp as your needs. Personaly, I use MySQL for the authentification and a PHP web site (under apache) to communicate with it : great !  Good luck  sorry for my english, I'm french
Lowe
I use the GUI for proftpd Gproftpd it's still not as good as BPFTP though, so im still looking for a better GUI or something else completely.
DragonMage
Why do you need a gui for a server? Server is supposed to be set up and then left alone. Anyway, I usually use webmin to setup the ftp server and then leave them alone.
