scoopy
Welcome to MUSB Clarke, If you nose around a bit on the FTP servers you will find some amd64 ISOs. Here's one set of the last "release candidate": ftp://sunsite.uio.no/pub/unix/linux/Mandr...evel/iso/amd64/ Or maybe you could tackle a "net" install from this source: ftp://sunsite.uio.no/pub/unix/linux/Mandr...ommunity/amd64/ * P2P might work too ;) * good luck and wish I had one of those setups coming to my desk. :P
aRTee
Try to use the 64 bit beta just to install, from there on just use urpmi (and easyurpmi) to update to the final version: point to the final version ftp repositories and upgrade. ChrisM
When I first bought my MDK9.2 it came with Xdays support. Well migrating from M$ to linux, it wasn't all swings and roundabouts. I had an issue and tried to get some guidance from Mdk support (didn't expect them to resolve my problem, I just needed some assistance with the enquiry) anyway, I never once heard back from them - it really peed me off - even if they had got back to me and told me that they couldn't help would have been something. (I used the online forms and sent them emails - still awaiitng replies months later ) Well anyway, this put me right off buying into club. So I have bought the offical version. I've bought the 'definitive guide' I'm considering buying into Mandrake online - but not really sure about this. I spread the gospel of mdk far and wide :D Staying away from club - at least for the time being - and all because they wouldn't/couldn't deliver customer support. I'd splash the cash, but feel a bit short channged already. From my experience, mdk really need to sort out their official support element :deal:
