RyanWw
Hello everyone. This is just a follow up for those of you who may be having the same issues with Mandrake 10. Well after trying everything known to man, attempting to fix this issue was unsuccessful. I wouldn't like to say that I gave up, but I did give up on Mandrake 10 working with my sound card. It appears that my soundcard modules were damaged, on not just on my downloaded version. I guess it was a kernel issue or something, devries could tell you more if you want to know for sure. I just finished installing SuSE 9.1 personal, and even though it was full of frustration with the installation, I did get my sound working with much ease. So all in all, SuSE will be my light now, GL to all of you who have the same issues. Regards to devries for all of his help. Thanks devries, you're certainly a glimmer in the linux community.
