solarian
I'm afraid I won't be too original: Firefox and Thunderbird
imwithstupid
firefox of course...and lynx. For mail I use sylpheed because it is so freakin fast, reliable and uses almost zero memory. Heck it's name even means light and airy. Might also check out sylpheed-claws which can do a little more than the standard sylpheed.
ChrisM
I.E.6 and Outlook ... just kiddin. Before I was able to install MDK, I was using Firefox in M$. Now I'm on MDK9.2 I'm using Konqueror - but still prefer Firefox. Trying to work it out how to install (just a newbie here, and have just overcome some installation hurdles). Thunderbird looks promising, but also attracted to Evolution.

axel_2078
I like Firefox and lately I've been using Thunderbird for email. It's pretty cool and I like the spam filtering, although I'm still attracted to the interface of Kmail.
