Can't Connect ....

I cant connect on my lapto to the internet I have a Dell Inspiron 9100 laptop with a bropadc com ethernet adapter....I used to use beta 10.1 and it went on fine on eth1 but recently i chose to go for verion 10.0 official....and it doessb't work....and it connects to eth0 and when i go to verbose node in the boot it say that eth0 has Failed...what can I do.....I have No internet On linux,...I need help ......Why isn't it working.. :help:

the failing of eth0 on bootup is not dramatic, because it can be activated later vith ifup eth0.

more important is now the networking stuff you have set up so far. please give the contents of your /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 file and the output of ifconfig eth0 in a terminal as root. otherwise it will be difficult to find a solution. ;)

I have solved the issue of my connection thanx to #musb @ irc.freenode.net ...:::::

 

 

 

I did as follows....

 

I disconnected the Eth card from my computer.. and rebooted without it....as follows......i booted in windows While Having linux ..... I tyhen turned off the pc and booted again but this tiime with the Eth card plugged in....Winndows then Reinstalled it.....and for some reson when i booted in linux it worked//!!:-D ///BLeh.....so if this is of any help to you guys good , If not,,well i posted it..:-D :afro:
