B) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Unfortunately, it looks like it may not be using KDE 3.3 / X.org R6.8. But if Mandrake 10.1 does switch, I'll be very glad. KopiX
Is there anywhere I could find Mandrake RPMs for KDE 3.3? I'd just assume compile it myself but last time I did that the KDE menu system got all screwy (I knew it would do that..amung other things) and got sick of dealing with that. So, I'm wondering if theres any RPMs (I know that Mandrake isn't planning on supporting it in its latest release and that I gotta wait for after the release for official ones, but figured someone compiled it already), or if someone can direct me to somewhere where it explains what I need to do to Mdk or KDE to make it interface correctly.. thinkliberty
When doing 'emerge kde' in gentoo it took 9 and a half hours on a 2500 amd with 1gb ram
KopiX
Yeah.. I've done it before, it sucked a lot, it took me a very long time. But at this point, its quicker than spending hours looking for RPMs, or waiting for it to be released
