To remove MandrakeLinux From the boot loader, in dos i do fdisk/btm, right? and then i select the mandrakelinux and remove it. after i remove it is there anyway to put it back into the boot list? or does the fdisk/btm remove it from my hd? thanks, Paxx
bvc
fdisk /mbr =win9x fixmbr and fixboot=win2k/xp If you boot with cd1 and press F1 at the splash screen, then type; rescue and press Enter, there's an option to restore the win bootloader ;) The linux partition are still there. To get them back or bootable, just boot to cd1 and press F1 at the splash screen, then type; rescue and press Enter, and there's an option to restore the linux bootloader.
