moskal Posted August 10, 2004 Report Share Posted August 10, 2004 Hey guys I've been having a couple of problems with my MDK 10. First of all I want to say that I am running nForce2 motherboard, and I couldnt install my MDK normally, I had to start it with "linux noapic nolapic". After I installed it, it froze a couple of times, it freezes every like 2nd booting. But the real problem is that, I cannot install anything from CD, when I want to add some software from the installation CD's It freezes and I have to install it. Can someone help me with it? tyme Posted August 10, 2004 Report Share Posted August 10, 2004 firstly, welcome to the board! second...do you have apic disabled on boot? look in Mandrake Control Center -> Boot -> Boot Options is where it is, IIRC.
