It looks ok, but I'd bump up the video card to at least a 5900 if you wanna play Doom 3 when it's available for Linux.

And as for the hard drive, yeah, I agree. My games partition alone is 40GB, heh.

I have a lot of Linux games (at least compared to the number that there are), and here I have listed all of them, I think. The ones in bold I love to play. :)

Aliens Versus Predator Gold

America's Army: Operations (free)

Civilization: Call to Power LE (Loki)

Creatures 3: Internet Edition (LGP)

Descent II

Descent 3 (Loki)

Devastation

Eric's Ultimate Solitaire (Loki)

FreeSpace: Silent Threat

Neverwinter Nights

Orbz

Postal Plus (Loki)

Quake

Quake 2

Quake 3 Arena (Loki)

Well the video card says it supports Doom 3 if you scroll down...I think that's the reason I got it :D

Ah, well, here's hoping it performs well. I am disappointed with my GF4 Ti4200 and was since I bought it, so next time I'm not skimping. :)

1GB of MB RAM? LOL! Typo.

Must be lol. nah I think that 512 is plenty for todays game, maybe in a few months or years I should get a few more sticks of RAM.

-Luis

Well, how more RAM, how faster programs will compile... :)

edit: and games ofcourse :P

I like my 5700 ultra, plays my games just fine.  You might look for a hardrive that gets 8MB cache too.  I don't mind my ti4200 either but Dolson plays more games than I.

I only have a Ti4200 as well. Most of my gaming these days takes place on my Xbox. I have all but given up on Linux gaming.
