Only way I am aware of would be to change the login manager. You have xdm, kdm, and the one you are using now. If you mean changing skins, you can have a look under kcontrol > systems > login manager. You may find an option there that will let you change skins, but I don't know if it can be done. kde-look.org doesn't have any skins for this.

afaik the logout is uncustomizable

 

btw, what are you doing logged in as root :)

That's sad then I can't get rid of dragon :(

I think you can get rid of the cute little dragon. Replace the following image file:

 

/usr/share/apps/ksmserver/pics/shutdownkonq.png

 

with an image that fits reg. the width and height. But don't blame us when you are using a huge image file and you can't logout then, lol. You better don't overwrite the file but work with a copy.
