bvc Posted September 16, 2004 Report Share Posted September 16, 2004 (edited) people need to make some better programs for managing the shadows. at this point the only real option is xcompmgr - which isn't even in final yet. i'm sure eventually we'll have some form of comtrol over them. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> yup....we need wild and fun stuff I often have to remind myself why I use linux the os despite it's gui. The icon set's been my default since forever (1.0 beta) Now I've got the wallpaper, splash screen and firefox theme. I'm always looking at ways to cram more stuff in as little space as possible because I use an LCD which means my resolution is fixed at 1024x768. I'll get around to posting mine sometimes, nothing fancy, mostly the background picture changes every 20 minutes out of a library of maybe 100 backgrounds, otherwise it's plain all boring KDE.
