hi,

I wanna install lmule (p2p) client, but it says I need gtk+/glib. I donwload those, and first have to compile glib, so I did. But when I try to compile gtk+, it says I don't have a recent version of glib, so my question , did I do anything wrong while compiling it?(./ configure -> make -> make install ).

I wanna install lmule (p2p) client,

I used lmule, but that was ages ago, they changd the name of the project to xmule and then, after some xmule releases some devs made a fork of it and called it amule, which is what i am using at the moment, i think xmule is not being develop any longer, but im not sure though, what im sure about is that lmule latest release is ages old.

So if i were you i wouldnt use lmule at all, its quite old and surely got security problems. If you decide to go for amule, there is a post in the forums that will explain how to install. Latest amule stable version is 1.2.7 and beta is 2.0 RC3, 2.0 final being expected shortly...
