Darkelve
presumably exchange/OE is obviously out but how about IE? would using Opera or firefox/thunderbird help most MS bound people? My guess is Thunderbird would. No viruses, no "automagical" launching of files, plus when you DO got spam, you can mark it as "junk" and move it to your spam folder. My question is: do you even have to have Outlook open before they can access your address book? Or can it be done through IE, or even as soon as Windows has started up (well, maybe that's a little paranoid)?? Ixthusdan
On windex, if you use at least a double firewall, you can be relatively secure. The "holes" are created by the os itself, communicating your movements to Big Brother. Make windexs act like an os, and your half way there! It is really a giant bloated chunk of virul-ridden spamware that spys on you. (Or is it spyware that spams you? I don't know!) B)
