For some reason im not getting any power out of my usb ports when mandrake is either being installed or running. Thus the usb mouse i have wont work. The LED blinks just as i plug the connector in but then it goes out completly.

Is this an unsuported hardware issue or is it fixable in mandrake?

I am using a soyo kt600 dragon platnuim plus MB and Soyo says the board is supported under linux but mandrake isn't stated to support the board.

Is there any way around this?
