Guest jamisnemo
For some reason im not getting any power out of my usb ports when mandrake is either being installed or running. Thus the usb mouse i have wont work. The LED blinks just as i plug the connector in but then it goes out completly. Is this an unsuported hardware issue or is it fixable in mandrake? I am using a soyo kt600 dragon platnuim plus MB and Soyo says the board is supported under linux but mandrake isn't stated to support the board. Is there any way around this? Guest anon
Welcome to the board. What version of MDK are you using? there are some known USB issues with MDK-10 addressed here: http://www.mandrakelinux.com/en/errata.php3#kernusb
Pzatch
Have you tried starting the system with the mouse plugged in instead of plugging it in after boot?
