Reason being that it can work out and deal wit all th dependency problems for you automatically. But for it to work you have to find a urpmi source that has the rpms you want, for cutting edge stuff you might want to add the MDK Cooker as a source. For instructions and lists of source try: http://urpmi.org/easyurpmi/index.php Is it worth? If your machine is working reliably and doing everything you want whats the point in updating?
