not quite, it seems. give it 24 hours, Cerulean studios will probably come up with a workaround, and they almost always share their work arounds with GAIM, so gaim will probably release a patch or an updated version within a few days.

who uses yahoo anyways? :P :jester:

gaim 0.79 w/yahoo fix is out. i don't have time to build an RPM, must sleep. (This is that time where you build it from source... :o )

anyways, as I guessed (from the change log):

* Fixed Yahoo! authentication problems.  (Cerulean Studios)

gotta love the guys over at cerulean.

Where might one find a RPM for 10.0 official of gaim 0.79?

Some of us are "compiling-impaired" :unsure:

checking for GTK+ - version >= 2.0.0... no
*** Could not run GTK+ test program, checking why...
*** The test program failed to compile or link. See the file config.log for the
*** exact error that occured. This usually means GTK+ is incorrectly installed.
configure: error:
*** GTK+ 2.0 is required to build Gaim; please make sure you have the GTK+
*** development headers installed. The latest version of GTK+ is
*** always available at http://www.gtk.org/.

heh
