a very strange bug

hello,

Yesterday I installed mandrake 10 on my thinkpad laptop, no problems at all, everything works, hibernation, tp volume buttons, etc.

Then I arranged the keyboard layouts for the languages I use(in kde), and when using turkish and czech languages (keyboard layouts), the screen became blurry and froze. Nothing worked, ctrl alt bksp, ctrl alt del etc, no reaction and after a while I turned the computer off with the poweroff button. This always occures when I switch between languages and makes no difference if I switch using the mouse or the keyboard shotcuts. No other language combination causes this problem, i tried english czech german, english turkish german, also included french...everything worked.

The log file says> atkpd.c: unknown key released (translated set 2, code 0x7a on isa 0060/serio0)

I did some googling, and found out that this is X a bug, but people usually encountered it when using a mouse, or in the konsole, but as much as I gathered, it never caused such a system crash. Nowhere I found a solution.

I would be grateful for any help, I need those languages on my comp (I am a translator). I was planning to try not to use win at all, but like this I have to postbone the first job I will be doing on linux. (Would have been today)

Thanks in advance and greetings from turkey
