Guest Pork
Firstly, I'm running MDK9 with GNOME2. I'm attempting to compile Mozilla 1.2.1 myself, with GTK2 and XFT support, but the configure script can't find XFT. Where is this package located on MDK9, and how can I set the script to look there. It's telling me to add the directory where 'xft.pc' is to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH variable. Doing a 'whereis xft.pc' search finds nothing. Thanks
beesea
xft.pc is part of the Xft-devel package, so you'll need to make sure you have that installed
Guest dahvaio
visit http://speakeasy.rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2htm...FT+for+mandrake You will find the xft rpms
Guest Pork
Unfortunatley I'm screwed. I trace everything back and I need fontconfig, which needs libfontconfig to be installed. But I don't have libfontconfig and libfontconfig needs fontconfig to be installed. Oh well. I'm going to do a 2nd install of Mandrake on my 2nd hard drive and install it with next to nothing and get all the latest packages going on there for testing purposes.
