Andrewski
My stepdad has been downloading audiobooks and such (I think) from audible.com and they come in their own () .aa format. He wants to put them on a CD in .mp3 format (so as to fit 6 hours on one CD, that is) so he can listen in his car on the road. I have been unable to find a audio converter that recognises the .aa format, but of course, looking up aa on google.com brought up some tangential results. (How can people misspell 'a'?!) My question is: do you software-philes know of any program--Linux or Windows--that can do such a thing? Or, as a backup plan, do you know of a good program--again, Linux or Windows--that can record playing sound, so I could play the file and record an .mp3 on-the-fly? Or, do you have any other ideas? ;) Thanks in advance!
