FX
http://www.novell.com/community/linux/orde...?sourceid=uscin Found that link at Distro watch and from what I understand they will send you some free stuff to evaluate after you fill out a small questionaire. I filled it out for Suse 9.1 Pro. See what happens. FX

Definitely, half the school computers have memory leaks at the moment anyway! POS! and novell has so many evil watching programs like zenworks so they can stop you from playing games, and watch your desktop
Windependent
well, i filled out the questionnaire to get my free SUSE stuff, and it arrived a few days ago. the package included 3 DVDs, 1. DVD 1A - Enterprise stuff suse linux enterprise server 8 Nterprise Linux services 1.0 GroupWise 6.5.1 Red Carpet Enterprise Server 2.02 ConsoleOne Linux services 2. DVD 1B - Suse Linux 8.2 Pro, Ximian Desktop 3. DVD 1C - Suse Linux 9,1 Pro This is definitely the best way to get a copy of Suse Pro 9.1 Unfortunately, even with daily automated updates there are still quite a few bugs... Counterspy
The offer has ended. I got mine and they are all full editions and not crippled. The only restriction is that you can't transfer them. I have also heard that you can't use them in a production environment. Windependent
Yep, they're full editions all right -- but I just can't get DVD3 (Suse 9.1 Pro) to work right. No matter what happens, it goofs up on installation in a dual head environment. the only fix is to pull one of the video cards, which seems like a suboptimal solution to me. after pulling one of the video boards I've also run into lots of problems with all sorts of unexplainable lockups in Yast2. IMHO, not ready for prime time.
