It doesn't seem to be as far I am concerned it hangs at all stages during install and also after reboot on HD what is wrong with it ? are we going to wait for an update soon ? If you downloaded them, check that the md5sum is OK. Also what speed did you burn them? Hatepe Posted June 14, 2004 Report Share Posted June 14, 2004 (edited) It is not about burning the CD; the image itself is the problem. I have read about at least four others with the same problem. I simply think they made a mistake with making the image. I got that problem too and I worked around it by installing it until the moment it hangs. Than I start over, but choose upgrade. This time it goes pass the point where it hanged the last time, but it reports an error in the file 'kdeartwork-3.2mdk.i586' . You can resume installing after that, although you miss that file. There was a moment I thought I fixed it by uninstalling my USB-mouse, but I was forgotten that I did the upgrade rather than the install.
