Guest charbel
I checked the md5 sum on each Cd and they were ok. Everytime I boot form the Cd and start installing... after I choose the language the installation freezes and I can't do anything but reboot... Guest charbel
I installed 9.2 without problems... only reason I uninstalled it was because the mouse froze too often (usb microsoft IE 3.0)
Hatepe
I have the same, see my topic. I got it installed by running upgrade rather than install when trying again. Still it gives an error in KDEartwork-3.2MDK.i586, but you can go on installing after it. Did you read my topic about it? http://www.mandrakeusers.org/index.php?showtopic=15260
Hatepe
I just read in another topic that freezing during install is caused if you have an USB-mouse, so try again with another mouse. I have an USB-mouse as well, causing the problem.
Guest charbel
ok ill try using a PS/2 port... but will my mouse keep freezing while working at the desktop?
bvc
should just be with the installer. Once installed your usb mouse should work.
Cannonfodder
Are you connecting your usb mouse directly to your box or going through a port device? Sometimes the USB device (gives you more USB ports) is the issue so you can switch your mouse back to a USB direct connection. Then later you can resolve the USB port device.
