Valavien
Hi all, I really like using Getright in Windows but wanted to know if there was something similar for linux? I really like using the shutdown on completion and ability to que files. Thanks

bvc
if no one produces a good gui with the 'shutdown when finished' option you can always use the commandline ;) to see what I'm talking about, open xterm>cd /path/to/download/to>then; wget -t 10 ftp://mandrake-forum.org/pub/Misc/mutt/Readme && killall xterm.real when the Readme is done downloading the xterm will be killed. If instead, you wanted to shutdown afterwards you'd do; wget -t 10 ftp://mandrake-forum.org/pub/Misc/mutt/Readme && shutdown -h now :D SEE: wget --help man wget Edited June 5, 2004 by bvc

Guest CHAOSACES
If you only want to be able to shutdown after download, then I've found d4x to work rather well. If you're looking for something that will make multiple connections to speed up downloads, then give prozilla a try.
