alexpank
I haven't tried this myself so I can't say for sure, but is it something as simple as right-clicking the icon and changing it in Properties? I know that works for desktop icons, and I seem to remember having used it for kicker icons at some stage too...

tyme
it's probably determined by your current icon theme. if you want to do it the real hacker-ish approach, find the icon in /usr/share/pixmaps (i think) and replace the file with the one you want (same name, etc.)
