I haven't tried this myself so I can't say for sure, but is it something as simple as right-clicking the icon and changing it in Properties? I know that works for desktop icons, and I seem to remember having used it for kicker icons at some stage too...

it's probably determined by your current icon theme.

if you want to do it the real hacker-ish approach, find the icon in /usr/share/pixmaps (i think) and replace the file with the one you want (same name, etc.)

In KDE it's /usr/share/icons

If it is from your icon theme, then it would be in ~/.kde/share/icons
