FX
Chrisz, linux_learner (I believe) and I where talking about backups for linux. Partimage came up as well as Nortons or Symantecs ghost. Well I stumbled on this cruising another forum. http://konserve.sourceforge.net/ Im installing it now and gonna try it out. Has anyone else tried it or used it? If so how good is it? Wonder if it because Im using Dropline Gnome and using xorg. FX
tyme
or you could try installing fontconfig....should be in your packages :)
ramfree17
while i do use partimage, i want something similar to norton ghost's feature wherein you just boot the cd and restore everything from the multiple-cd image. you also have the option to resize the partitions but it has a default value. mkcdrecord looks nice but i havent done it yet and i am not yet sure about its ntfs compatibility (but i think i saw that it supports ntfs). i really want to make a linux solution so i dont have to have to handle redtape whenever i need to have our workstations here in the office imaged. :( ciao!
