Guest dsmith
Hi, just completed a new installation of Mandrake 10 - (No significant problems) and run the configuration too in the Mandrake Control Center. One symptom here was that if you click Internet Connection, the tool displays "Testing your connection..." and stops (since I entered all the necessary details in the 'New connection screen, my gateway IP is displayed correctly here). I have tried leaving this screen for 20 mins or so and it doesn't change. The actual problem is that wenever I request a web page, there is an approx 5 second delay before the page begins loading at my normal broadband speed... Has anyone else experienced this?? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Daniel. moved from Installing Mandrake by spinynorman
