Amarok rpm

here is my output when i'm trying to compiled it the dependency are instaled :

And then just ignore gstreamer, you need a 0.8+ version of it and there are no RPMS for Mandrake. You can try compiling gstreamer 0.8 from source, but you'll still get the same message when you configure amarok, 'cause you probably have a set of gstreamer 0.6 RPMS installed (I do, and can't see an easy way of removing them and replacing them with later versions.

 

You should be able to compile it using aRts, which will suck, as it skips a lot at high CPU loads, especially with a 2.6 kernel, but plans are underway for including an ALSA module with amaroK 1.1, according to their website.

 

This is all for amarok 1.0x. If you want to install the 0.9 version, there's an RPM here
