RPMs for NVidia

I have had a nightmare trying to get the whole NVidia driver thing sorted out for my card I found a site (livna.org) that has them packaged in RPM form for Fedora. Am I right in the assumption that as long as I have the right version for my kernel that they would install in MDK? Has anyone tried this method? Any feedback?

I'm thinking this may be my cure.

Thanks,

Dan

There is another way to get the NVIDIA rpms. If you are a member of Mandrakeclub you have full access to the NVIDIA and ATI driver rpms. Have you considered joining?

It is worth it - there are a lot more packages there waiting for you and you do help out Mandrakesoft. Think about it.

My two australian cents.

I have no problems with the nvidia installer. It's worked in Gentoo, SuSE, Mandrake, and MEPIS, as well as Arch Linux.
