neilinoz
After nearly six years of internet surfing from Australia, I have to admit that I STILL can't remember the time difference between my local time zone and UTC. I would really like to have UTC time displayed on my screen, but also have the local time displayed as well (preferably in larger font than UTC). Is this possible? I run Mandrake 9.1 (presently) and use KDE, though I don't know which version which probably means that I use the default version for Mdk 9.1. This would be really useful
Darkelve
Not sure, but couldn't you just run 2 instances of the same program?
Qchem
I know with gnome it's simple to have such a setup with the panel clock and a gdesklet clock - I'm sure there must be something similar for kde.
DragonMage
Hmm.. you know.. you can run gkrellm on top of your desktops, then set the timezone of your KDE clock to somewhere UTC. The gkrellm will show you the clock in your timezone and the kde clock will show you the UTC clock.
!nkubus
just add an appelet to you kicker , and add a clock, and im shure you can configure them in different time zone.
durvish
I do this same thing on my setup. I use KDE's clock on the toolbar for local time and a Superkaramba script on the desktop for UTC.
