Andrewski
Will downloading more fonts slow down the OS like it does with Windows? Or am I on the threshold of discovering YANTAL (yet another neat thing about Linux)?
bvc
I d/k.....I only installed a few so far. I could definately see xfs (if used) or X in general using more memory, but I don't see it slowing you down really, but then, I never noticed a diff in win either. Seems to me it's like compiling from source....you may, just may notice a slight diff, but it's doubtful. Just my thoughts....I don't really know.
