obscure_
I know this sounds like a stupid question but how can I change the colours gnome is using? Like at the mo I've just decided to give it a go and everything looks white
iphitus
Change the theme? Normally I would point you to http://art.gnome.org <rant> BUT! the bugger who runs it is too lazy to restore it after the GNOME downtime. He took over 3 months to add one of BVCs themes to the site, and my themes havent been put up and its 4 months now. The site is rarely updated now and if that @$$hole cant handle it im sure there are a lot of enthusiastic GNOME users who would happily do it for him. </rant> You can still access the FTP of all the themes tho, just no previews of them: http://ftp.gnome.org/Public/GNOME/teams/art.gnome.org/ iphitus
bvc
Specifically.... what colors? Some metacity theme colors are controled by the gtk theme being used. The gtk themes colors are in the themes gtkrc file. If you're looking for colr themes like kde, gnome doesn't have that, it has to be done manually through the gtkrc file.
